Professional Statement
Hello! I’m Ashley Eskenazi, a Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), depression, anxiety (social anxiety, general anxiety, and panic attacks), and other life challenges with compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to meet each client’s unique needs.

I have worked with clients with OCD subtypes of Harm OCD, Contamination, Scrupulosity (both religion and morality based), Relationship OCD, "Just Right" OCD, Sexual Obsessions, and Sexual Orientation OCD. I have also included client's family members at times, with permission, to help them understand OCD and how to support their loved one.

My goal is to help clients build practical tools they can use in everyday life, whether that’s learning to manage anxiety, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, set healthy boundaries, or tolerate distress without feeling overwhelmed. For clients with OCD or anxiety disorders, we often work on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to break the cycle of avoidance and regain a sense of control and freedom.

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and have advanced clinical experience working with adolescents and adults in both outpatient and intensive treatment settings. My background includes working at Rogers Behavioral Health, where I specialized in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders using ERP and other structured interventions.
Message to clients
Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, compassionate, direct, and grounding, with a balance of support, structure, and gentle challenge.

My therapy style is warm, structured, and collaborative. I genuinely enjoy having structure in sessions, as I find it helps clients feel grounded and supported, especially when working through anxiety, OCD, or other complex concerns. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and ERP, which naturally bring a clear framework to the work. At the same time, I stay flexible and responsive to the client's emotional needs in the moment.
